Addition of a new section, 3c.4, page 94 – Updated filming requirements for the AS and A level specifications. See below for full text:
3c.4 Requirements to film a sample of students for on-site activities
To support moderation, centres are requested to keep the following as a minimum filmed evidence sample of on-site activities:
- At least 6 candidate performances
- Across at least 2 activities
- Encompassing a range of marks – ideally top, middle and lowest mark in each of the two activities
This is in addition to the off-site activity filmed evidence requirements.
We have become aware of a number of centres who haven't completed logs of competitive participation. Please note the final paragraph in section 2b.1: your learners are required to complete a competitive log for each of their sports. A template can be found in the forms section of the subject page on the OCR website.
If you teach students with a physical disability, please see section 1e of the guide to NEA for how to apply to adapt the sports criteria to suit the disability. This should be completed and sent in to OCR the first term of their course.
