We have updated our specification to confirm the AS Level Classical Greek set texts for examination in 2022 in H044/02 are:

Prose Literature

• Thucydides, Histories, Book 6.19 to 6.32 or
• Plato, Symposium, 189c2 to 194e2

Verse Literature

• Homer, Odyssey 1, lines 213–444 or
• Sophocles, Ajax, lines 1–133, 284–347 and 748–783

You can view and download our updated specification (version 1.6) from the AS Level Classical Greek qualification page.

This corrects version 1.5 of the specification which was available to download from the OCR website between 1 July 2021 and 31 August 2021. This version stated that the texts in the second text cycle for AS Level Classical Greek would also be examined in 2022.
