Following feedback from teachers, we've made amendments to our specification for GCSE Computer Science J277.

We've now updated and clarified our guidance in the following sections:

• Content of computer systems (J277/01) – section 2b
• Content of computational thinking, algorithms and programming (J277/02) – section 2c

We've also made minor amendments to the OCR Exam Reference Language on page 25. All updates are listed in the summary of updates on page 42 of the specification.

These amendments to the specification apply to assessments taking place from the June 2024 exam series.
