This subject information update has been updated to amend the content originally published on 2 March 2018.
Following a review of our qualification offer in the light of changes to market demand, OCR has made the decision to withdraw the OCR Teaching and Assessing Learners with Specific Learning Difficulties qualifications.
We will continue to support and assess the qualifications below up to the final certification date of 30 September 2020. The last date to make entries is 30 September 2018.

OCR will not offer a replacement for the qualifications being withdrawn. However, similar programmes are available through other providers, including the British Dyslexia Association, who provide:
- Level 5: Certificate in Dyslexia; Literacy, Support & Intervention
- Level 7: Diploma in Dyslexia, Assessment, Literacy, Support & Intervention
A list of all course providers can be found on the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) website. They have also produced a letter to programme managers, to provide further support.
