All the materials which OCR publishes are protected by copyright legalisation. Access to them is allowed for some purposes and in certain circumstances.
Please see our external copyright policy for details.
Past papers are available on our website for five years*. This ensures they're relevant preparation for assessment and covered by copyright. As of August 2018, to get hold of older papers for private research purposes that are no longer on our website, please visit past-exam material. There is a search and copy fee for this research service.
Where third-party copyright clearance has not been received for items such as photos, published extracts or audio files, some papers may not be available online or will have specific content removed.
* The five year rule does not apply to all Maths and Science GCSEs, AS and A Levels.
Exam papers including modified papers from previous series that are now available to download for practice purposes are not fully accessible to use with accessibility software packages in most cases, as they were originally intended for print purposes only. Please get in touch using the website feedback form if you have an accessibility query regarding exam papers.
The acknowledgements for the use of third-party copyright material can be found in the booklets published for each exam series from the January 2010 exam series.
We offer free past papers in braille format. OCR registered centres can order past papers which were originally produced for a live series through the BETS braille website. The BETS website lists all available materials which were originally produced for a live series. Ordering the papers directly through BETS means you can organise timeframes and delivery options to suit you. The exception to this is music. If you require past papers for our music examinations in braille, please contact the Connect Group. If you require past papers which were not originally produced for a live series, please contact email@example.com.
